To Be or Not to Be

Hello, All--In my recent struggling with TMS, I was inspired to paraphrase the famous Hamlet soliloquy. (Apologies to Shakespeare!) Hope you can relate or pardon my wanderings!
To Be or Not To Be for TMS:
To be or not to be. That is the question. Whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous pain and depression, or to take TMS diagnosis against a sea of symptoms and by understanding, acknowledging, accepting and working through them to put an end to suffering.
And to say we end the heartache and the thousand natural symptoms that conscientious, anxious, stoic, perfectionistic flesh is heir to: tis a consummation devoutly to be wished.
To heal, perchance to live fully—ay there’s the rub.
For in that living fully what unconscious memories may come, when we have shuffled off this mortal syndrome?
And this must give us pause—there’s a reason our calamity has such a long life.
For who would bear the whips and scorns of back pain, tendonitis, GI ailments, headaches and inflammation, the list goes on,
When he himself might his escape make with a newfound awareness?
Who would carry the burden of years of fatigue, pain and lost time
but that it’s the dread of not being able to be healed, the deep-down struggle whether it’s structural or TMS, that makes us rather bear those ills we have than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus fear of pain and inability to heal doth make cowards of us all. And thus our good intentions are overridden with lack of safety messages to the brain.
And all the great things we could be doing and feeling are turned awry and never gotten realized.
