I used to be bed bound and now I am not.

Resources for calming the nervous system:

Learn to meditation with Dr. Les Aria in two minutes!

How to do short "check ins" for emotions and sensations to sense safety, with Dr. Les Aria

Meditation - guided mediation playlist from Healing Vibrations

4-8 breathing to music: great to train longer exhales which calm the nervous system.

My favorite ETF or Tapping channel is Julie Schiffman here's a Nervous System tapping video (she has hundreds of others)

Canadian TMS psychotherapist Tanner Murtaugh's Qi Gong playlist. All practices are very short and can be modified

Qigong for Vitality features short practices for every level of movement including seated, standing and specifically for anxiety .

Simple, easy to follow and gentle Tai Chi presented for every level of movement and various lengths of practice from Freshfield Fitness

This channel has several Tai Chi/Qigong mixed practices for people at all levels -modification is done in real time.

Workhingham BC basic tai chi (there are a few others that are more advanced) gentle but longer practices, excellent instruction

      Hi Cactus,
I was recently diagnosed with LPR and was wondering how you were able to cure it. I am someone who has had a host of TMS symptoms in the past but this one seem more difficult.

        Hi Rjh
        Mine comes and goes.
Since I recognize this as TMS, when I get the symptoms I tell myself “this is just tms”. I do not worry about them, they are a sign or message that I must look internally.
I do the tms work outlined in the SEP - daily.

I watch my mind for the overthinking and intentionally slow down.
        I monitor internal self talk.
I hope you can find what works for you.
