I have been diagnosed with Spondylolisthesis Grade 1. I have sciatica pain down left leg into ankle and foot, also back pain and a burning pressure in the anus. I've been cleared of hemorrhoids from rectal specialist, had a colonoscopy which was fine and saw a gyne to rule out pelvic floor problems. Neurosurgeon wants to do fusion surgery since MRI shows nerve impingement in L3-L4. He doesn't believe anal pain is coming from the back, but the chiropractor says it's coming from the nerve in L4. I believe it's nerve pain, too. I don't want any surgery and have done a little TMS work but am fearful of this being structural and needing surgery. Any comments?
