    Hi everyone,
I am reposting this thread because it is AMAZING!!! I loved what @IndiMarshall says in the initial post. I believe in this concept, that self love can heal. Mixing this with what @HealingMe says about making sure your thoughts are safe and loving. This helped to heal her. By babysitting your mind. I also love how @IndiMarshall explains it could take up to 2 years. Things are working in the background. And, Pain cycles. Down, then back up. This is my experience too. I appreciate this post so much! Just that I needed today. What are your thoughts on using self love to heal?

    Good morning,
I am new to this forum. I have had TMS symptoms for about 6 months, and read John Sarno's book about 3 months in. I have had almost complete recovery from symptoms but then a stressful period at work brought it back about two weeks ago. This really resonated with me, the idea of using self love to heal. Also the statement of how the symptoms can come in cycles and you just have to keep doing the work, I feel that is 100% spot on. I know I will get back to pain free soon, I just have to keep working at it. The self love idea is great, I am going to incorporate that into my healing, I think self love will help me with numerous stressors that are so common to TMS sufferers. Perfectionism, guilt, goodism, I have all of those, and I can see how self love will allow you to let go of all that un-necessary negative emotion. Just writing this is helping :) I am going to work on self love this week. Thank you all for being here, I am excited to be on this journey with you all!
