@Notallwhowanderrlost, DonnaJean already answered that question for someone else, back in 2016, which is when she was last active on the forum. Also, if you're paying attention you'll see on this page that she was already not answering the exact same question asked by someone else in 2019, five years ago but just one post prior to yours. Presumably she has moved on with her life. Read the full thread (it's only a page, after all) for that answer, and for context, and also possibly to learn something about the work we do here.

In reviewing your profile and posting history, I can see that you've been asking questions like this on old threads since 2019, and as far as I can tell, you've never received a response, at least not on the public forum. Do you even understand what this forum is for?

You're not alone - there is a small group of people who keep doing this, and I would say that the vast majority never receive responses (the older the thread, the less likely the response) and the experienced TMSers who are active on the forum don't bother with them, knowing that these questions are posted by desperate people who are focused on finding a magical physical solution, and are not interested in a psychological one.

Normally I also ignore these questions, but in addition to being a forum moderator, I'm also an educator at heart, so I'm responding to this one today for educational purposes in case anyone else reads this, and perhaps to pique the interest of those who find this thread on the internet, and who might be open to learning something new and exploring a different path to recovery.

We do not provide physical solutions here. Our motto, based on the work of Dr. John Sarno MD, is "think psychologically, not physically". Just read Alan Gordon's response to the very first post in this thread - that's who we are and what we do here. We also provide a TON of resources (like these old "ask a TMS therapist" threads) at no cost. We don't even have ads on the main tmswiki.org site or this forum. It's a labor of love, thanks to founder (and former Dr. Sarno patient) @Forest and to the members who stick around to provide information and support to people who decide to make this leap of faith.

If you want to see the details of someone's TMS recovery journey, go to their profile and click on the Postings tab. If they haven't written a profile story, they might have posted an introductory thread, which you'll find if you go to the bottom of the postings page and click on "threads started by..."

A great way to find recovery stories is to go directly to our Success Stories subforum and read posts there. Or put your symptom keywords into our search box, and use the "More" options to limit your results to just the Success Stories subforum.
