I have been in a really ugly breakup from a relationship that lasted about a year. Ive had alot of anxiety surrounding said breakup. The other day I was lifting in the gym and felt a slight pop near my left temple. Followed by a pressure type headache. It comes and goes. Last weekend I got drunk, I haven't been much of a drinker this last year, the following day was a terrible hangover. Its been 5 days since then and I have this terrible tension headache everyday. Ive been hydrating and eating well since the night of drinking. But this headache. Its near my temple. Down my neck. Moves up through the top of my head. But last night I had a long conversation with a friend discussing the breakup and I felt better during. So could this all be a trigger for new symptoms?

Why did you feel better discussing it? Do you feel you can more easily allow the emotions to come when talking to a friend, just rid yourself of the ruminations and feel like it is some kind of closure? Whatever it is, it must feel like relief.

Hangovers are totally normal after getting drunk.
Headaches happen from stress barring anything medically "wrong".
You discuss "hydrating well and eating well" - this has absolutely nothing to do with TMS.

What TMS skills/methods have helped past symptoms? What have you been employing since you've suspected that your symptoms could be related to TMS?

I haven't done anything yet. I just began wondering if it could be tms. The hydrating and eating clean was to deal with a hangover. I feel like 6 days later I should be removed from a baf night of drinking. But the headache remains. It does seem to lighten up when I talk about the break up with someone

Sounds like TMS is a strong possibility here :)

The fluctuating nature of your headache plus the 'lightening up' of it when you talk about the break up with someone does seem to indicate that it's likely to be mind/body/TMS. However, we are not medical professionals on here and therefore the advice always is to get yourself checked out if you're concerned. Especially if you have also had any scalp or temple tenderness, jaw pain when chewing or any vision issues like blurriness since you felt the pop and the headache come on, then my advice would be to see your doctor.
