My Story
I am a certified handwriting analyst who happens to have TMS. A graduate of Harvard University with a Master's degree in Human Development, I never knew I had TMS until I read Dr. Sarno's book, Healing Back Pain in March of 2012. I am nearly free of pain that had been debilitating, on and off, for 20+ years; I say "nearly free of pain" because I believe the pattern of TMS arises when stressful events trigger old emotions that cause pain in my body. With journaling, I can literally "see" what's bothering me. I now reach out to others having this illness by analyzing their handwriting to help interpret emotions that are repressed by the sub-conscious mind. My bachelor's degree is in Communications from Boston College. I hope to help others in their journey toward wellness and happy, pain-free living. I feel blessed to have found Dr. Sarno's books and his insights presented via the Internet. I was being told by physicans and physical therapists that I had fibromyalgia-like symptoms. So to go from significant pain to nearly no pain at all is a true blessing for me. I seek to support others here and to learn from others' insights as well. - Loading...
