Sorry to hear that. Sounds like you are under a lot of stress and I'm sorry. I had a stressful moment yesterday and guess what I got a migraine. I saw it for what it was. I think the pain is really serving it's purpose which is distraction. Maybe make a list of all the stress in your life and then ask yourself if you can actually change any of them. If so work to make slow changes in your life to reduce stress. If not I've found you have to just let go and accept them.

Also when under stress I think my nervous system starts to go haywire. My strategy has always been to try and show my lizard brain I'm not concerned about the symptoms and get on with my life as best I can. Eventually my brain gets the message and stops but I've had things go on for year or more. Watching the calendar is also not helpful. Trick is you really have to believe it 100% and not be concerned at least in my experience. Hang in there, these things take time. Try to do things you love and don't let it get the best of you.

@jhc1013 and @Sid Hartha , thanks for your responses. Thankfully, I'm doing a lot better now. I still have some pain (and am working on that), but it is no longer debilitating.

Thank you for the kind words, Jim, I appreciate it.

I actually do believe that our bodies can only take so much stress, and that lifelong anxiety will take its toll, and I believe there is evidence that there is an association between TMS personalities/tendencies, and Parkinson's. I also believe that the autoimmune conditions are stress-sourced, and that's based on my personal diagnosis of RA late in life. My new (younger, female) rheumatologist agrees with me.
