I am accepting of my TMS diagnosis and hopeful it will be the start to and end of my pain. Since reading Sarno’s books the main thing I have noticed is an improvement in my mood! I understand what is going on now and I saw so much of myself in the books. Some of the pain and decreased/moved around but I like the fact it’s jumping around because it’s further validating that my brain is in control of what is happening and when I tell it to go away or laugh at it. It does. It moves. But it listens. And I’m optimistic one day I will learn how to control it completely.

My only worry despite how much I believe and am on board with this is that it won’t work. I feel like this is my last hope at getting my life back. But I will do my best to stay positive and trust the process. I also need to learn patience. In all aspects of life!!

Welcome @ZowieAndrews, and thanks for your introduction!
Anyone who says that they never had this particular doubt is not really paying attention to their inner voice. This is classic behavior of the TMS brain trying desperately to keep you in fear. Gently reject this and other fear-based messages as unnecessary, and forge ahead.

It sounds like you are in the right place and on the right path. Keep us posted!
