Guys, I'm so sick of this. I hate dialogue writing so i tried to just do some free writing but im sick of writing to a trait as if im an imbecile. What do we do when we encounter resistance to journaling?

I totally get what you mean. When journaling starts to feel like a chore, it can make resistance even stronger. I found it helped to look for a type that suited me better. There are some different approaches listed here: https://www.tmswiki.org/ppd/How_do_I_journal?#Cluster_.2F_Spider_Writing I used the 'cluster/spider writing' option when I used to journal because it only takes 5 minutes of your time at a time, so I was less likely to baulk at doing it. The success that I have experienced in my recovery process thus far has been all about taking a baby steps approach with everything that I do.

Unfortunately, this happens to us sometimes. I pushed myself to write. If I was resisting it-then I probably needed to just do it.
There are other ways to journal and maybe you just need to switch topics for a little bit as well. Sometimes I took a break on the SEP if I was feeling that it was overwhelming me. It took me almost 2 months to finish the program. So hopefully any of these ideas will help you.
