I guess programmed dreams and journaling are both methods you can use to process the emotions you've repressed into your unconscious mind. The primitive part where emotions persist on auto-pilot long after the actual situations that caused them have changed or disappeared. Dysfunctional behaviors learned early in the childish mind; therefore, really hard to get rid of.

John Kehoe talks about dream interpretation in his book: 'Mind Power in the 21st Century'. He writes:

"Dreams are always about you and your circumstances - where you are stuck, what you're avoiding, what you're missing, what you're ignoring, where you need to go. Ninety-five percent of the time all the characters, creatures, monsters and strangers in your dreams represent aspects of yourself. When you are interpreting a dream assume that all the people in the dream are you (except when you recognise the characters - children, spouse, parents, co-workers and so forth - and even then they are sometimes you)"

This was a real eye-opener for me, and helped me through a difficult period recently.

The rest of his book his great too. I recommend it.

Okay, with that in mind, let's interpret Walt's "kinky" dreams. :D

I don't think the dream I had the other night was kinky, just loving.

I'm sure Walt's already worked that one out. "Loving" dreams are the easiest to interpret:)

That dream the other night really was a little kinky, but hey, it didn't hurt anyone.

I had another loving dream last night, but not kinky or sexual.

I slept 10 hours last night without waking up even for a pit stop.
So my conscience must be clear.

And yesterday had two big downers that didn't keep me awake,
because I handled them well in the present.
I just told myself they were glitches that would pass.

It's so nice to have loving dreams, and a bonus if they're a little kinky LOL!

Two big downers, hopefully they weren't the two tall ones you didn't get your hands on - buildings I mean;-P

It's very pleasing when you can breathe through the downs in the day, and move on. Well done Walt!

Happy Sunday, Colly. Cool and almost cold here in the Chicago suburbs and rain coming.
    I don't mind. It's cozy indoor weather.

    How are you feeling?

    Anything planned for today?

Hi Walt I hope to see Chicago some day. Hints of winter here in Melbourne.

Just about to board flight to Perth for business trip so might be out of action for a week or two. New project... Long hours with teething problems... Groan!

Keep well and keep up the tango lessons ;)

And I'd love to see Australia. Good luck on the business trip.

A dear friend who cleans houses is here doing mine, every two weeks.
She does a fantastic job and I could never clean it as well as she does.

I have very vivid dreams, some disturbing, some nightmares, some recurring (forgetting the combination lock at school and I have a test, for example) and a few that are loving and kind. A friend told me it is not what you dream but how you feel in the dream. A signal for what is going on.

I also think it is liking taking out the trash or going through closets and drawers. Your mind is trying to organize, make sense and throw things out. Sometimes I would really like to not remember my dreams like my husband who almost never does. And he is the most chilled level person I have ever known. But I just accept that they are there to guide and clean and try to go with them. When I am having a lot of them or they are disturbing I try to ask, is there something or someone I need to deal with or let go of? Have I just been through a stressful time? Am I concerned about something that is upcoming?

Sewnuch, I like your thinking that dreams are a way of clearing house in our mind.
One of my recurring dreams is like yours at school and forgetting the combination lock or going to take a test.
Mine is never having enough time to finish the test. I think that's because I am real busy with work and
other things and have so much on my mental plate. I may be too busy but prefer that to not having enough
or anything to do. I am getting better at juggling the projects and deadlines and not letting it get to me.
