    1. How to say No! When to say No! Why I can choose to say No!
    2. That I can live with symptoms without stressing over them.
    3. That ignoring my symptoms usually diminishes them.
    4. Writing is sooo therapeutic! I never knew I could out-cuss a sailor!
    5. To redirect negative thoughts into the nearest trash can. Replace with ‘atta girl affirmations.
    6. To notice everything about the present moment.
    7. To finish every journaling session with SOMETHING to be grateful for!
    8. To slow everything down and relish my life. Most things can wait.
    9. Letting go. People, the past, and possessions.
    10. Compassion for myself.
This is my concluding day in the SEP. I’m so pleased to have been a participant and very thankful it exists. The people I’ve encountered both newbies and vets have enriched and informed, blessed and cared for me. I hope in some way, I’ve given something back.

There should never be divisions among God’s children for we all have our burdens. Instead, as we have demonstrated here, to love and to help each other, is so life-giving and precious.

At this time, I’m going to reflect on the past 42 days. And then, a bit later, I’ll hop on over to the general discussion forum as that seems to be the locus of activity. I’m feeling good. Thank you one and all. (JanA, you take first prize! There will be a crown waiting for you in Heaven. Diana-M, we related so beautifully. Prayers are going up for your complete healing.)

Congratulations Mtnjac. It sounds like you are doing great and made significant progress. I am really happy for you. If I remember correctly one of your symptoms was acid reflux. Do you think it improved a bit over the course of the program?
