    I know this thread is a little old but I was just looking at it. To me “should” is just us being critical of ourselves. I try to catch myself whenever I hear myself say it. It doesn’t serve me. It only puts pressure on me. There are no shoulds or shouldn’ts. Just do or don’t. Without any added pressure. That’s my take :)

    My therapist and my husband caught me saying should. You are right. That word or thought doesn't serve me. Thanks!
