The right way to respond to a profile post

    Hi everyone,

    It's been great to see people helping each other out with profile posts recently. It turns out that there is a better way and a worse way to do this, so I thought I'd make a short video showing people the best way to do it.

    If you think you might respond to a profile post at some time, please take a moment to watch the video (less than 2 minutes long):


    I wanted to keep the above video super short and to the point, but if you're curious as to why this is important, here's a second (also less than 2 minute long) video explaining why:


    The bottom line: if you want to reply to a profile post, make sure to click the "comment" link first so that your post will be clumped (threaded) with the old one. You can find the comment link by clicking on the blue dots (the interact ellipsis). For details, watch the videos!
