Keep Going.
1 year anniversary (approx.) when my chronic pain kicked me in the butt and I spiraled into severe anxiety and depression. A couple months later I learned about Dr. Sarno and my whole reality changed.

This post is to anyone who doubts they won’t be free of physical or mental chronic pain.

Yes, you can and you will. I believe you can. Trust yourself. Trust the process. Stay consistent. Don’t put pressure on yourself. Cut yourself some slack. Make small adjustments every single day. Just because you have a horrible day it most certainly doesn’t mean you are back at zero.

Last night the original pain symptoms that got me into this work reared its ugly head very subtly. It was like a snake slithering in. I got scared, rolled my eyes, I acknowledged it, journaled, and focused my attention on the present (prepping delicious food for Thanksgiving the next day). I woke up at peace, energized, with no sign of it.

You will find yourself bombarded with family stuff, relationship stuff, work stuff, that will challenge you. You can’t ignore it and you certainly can’t avoid it. But you can choose how you react to symptoms.

Continue this work. It’s worth it.
